St. Leonard, MD – One day before Easter and excited children, anticipating a big basket of treats this weekend, got to visit with the Bunny. Over 200 kids and adults attended Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department (Company 7). According to Company 7 Auxiliary (The Alarmers) President Debbie Mister, this was the first year the local company has held the event.
In addition to a hearty, homemade breakfast served up by volunteers, the children also had a chance to hone their Easter crafts skills and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The crew of about 20 volunteers (including the Easter Bunny) brought some holiday weekend joy to some of the community’s smallest residents.
