The Charles County Advocacy Council for Children Youth and Families, in partnership with the Charles County Public Schools and the Charles County Childrenโs Aid Society, invites parents and community members to the Public & Permanent: Promote Responsible Use of Technology & Prevent Digital Abuse program being offered by the Institute for Responsible Online and Cell-Phone Communication. All attendees will learn solutions for preventing cyber bullying, inappropriate photos, irresponsible use of apps, poor social media behaviors, and other current and future cyber issues.

Author Richard Guerry will speak on cyber safety and digital exploitation. Guerry has appeared as an expert on CNN and MTVโs Thin Line Campaign, as well as in Parade magazine and in local, regional, and international publications.
