In September 2013, the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Service Systems (MIEMSS) selected the Charles County Department of Emergency Servicesโ EMS Division as the lead agency for testing the Health Care (HC) Standardยฎ Patient Tracking System on a single technology platform.ย Following months of field testing, the EMS Division recommended a mobile tablet solution as the most appropriate platform for HC Standardยฎ.
