On April 30th, just before midnight, off duty Lieutenant Daniel Alioto investigated two suspicious vehicles in the area of the Great Mills Pool. The vehicles were unoccupied. A check of the Pool facility revealed that there were suspects inside.
Suspects Anthony Stuart Meiklejohn (Age 23 of Granville Ma.) and Christopher John Kalman (Age 22 of Ridge, Md) were detained just outside the lobby area of the Pool building. Suspect Meiklejohn is an employee of the building and he utilized his position to gain access.
He was found to be in possession of marijuana as well. Four additional persons were located inside swimming. They were identified as Suspect Andrew Neil Karnes (Age 22 of St. Mary’s City), Mary Katherine Clapp (Age 20 of Gaithersburg, Md) Amohelang Abigail Pecko-Spicer (Age 21 of Silver Springs) and Jessica Marie Porter (Age 20 of Baltimore, Md). All parties were consuming alcoholic beverages and Suspect Porter was cited for doing so while underage.
