Bushwood, MD— On Feb.25, Maryland State Police Trooper Manning responded to Wilson Drive in Bushwood for a reported domestic disturbance.ย
When Manning arrived on the scene contact was made with the complainant, who was inside of the residence. The complainant advised the defendant, Gary Scott Arbaugh, 34, of Bushwood, was extremely intoxicated throughoutย the physical argument that had taken place in the house.ย
The complainant advised, “that Arbaugh and another individual within the home started to arguing, Arbaugh was asked to calm down. The victim stepped in between the men arguing and was struck by Arbaugh’s left forearms and was pushed out of the way,” according to charging documents.ย
The man who was involved in the argument advised, “he was trying to sleep, when he (complainant) heard someone banging on the door,” according to charging documents.ย
The man advised he opened the door and saw it was Arbaugh. The man also informed the deputy that Arbaugh “was very intoxicated throughout this whole encounter and was unable to give me (Manning) an accurate statement.”ย
Arbaugh has a court date scheduled for April.28 at the St.Mary’s County District Court. Arbaugh faces a maximum jail sentence of ten years and or a maximum fine of $2,500.ย
