Solomons, Mayland, April 26, 2011 –ย  Back again by popular demand this year at Annmarie โ€“ Fairy Houses & Gnome Homes! This year over forty fabulous handmade fairy houses & gnome homes are tucked in amongst the trees and shrubs along the Wooded Path.ย  Made of everything from pine cones to glitter, the houses make for an enchanting walk for all ages.ย  All the houses were built by regional and local โ€œcontractorsโ€ of all ages including Annmarie artists, volunteers and staff.ย ย  Contractors include, but are not limited to; mother- daughter contractors, father- son contractors; first time contractors and those in business for over a decade!

This 2011 exhibition is in memory of Mary Beth Harry โ€“ local artist and friend of Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center.

Pick up the โ€œCan you find?โ€ guide by artist, Melinda Fabian, in the Arts Building and see how many Fabulous Fairy Houses & Gnome Homes you can locate!ย  The exhibit will run through the September 25, 2011, and is included with the price of admission.ย  Not to be missed is the costume station, where adventurers can find a gnome sword or fairy wand!ย  Dig out a pair of wings or gnome gear and wear them as you hunt for all the houses.ย  When you are finished exploring, post your pictures on the Annmarie Facebook page and be eligible for a best photo prize!

Admission Information
Admission to Annmarie $3 for adults ages 12 & older; $2 for seniors; $2 for children ages 5-11; children 4 and under are Free. AMG Members are always FREE.
