Fall Fun and Pumpkins Abound at Mt. Zion

Last weekend there were children’s games, hay rides, pumpkin decorating, baked goods and much more at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church’s very first “Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival.” This weekend the fall festivities continue, and the festival is likely to become an annual event, proving a popular Halloween celebration for families with young children.

Mt. Zion is also sharing the gourds from their bountiful pumpkin patch. If you’re looking to pick up a plump pumpkin you can purchase one from Mt. Zion this week between 10 am and 6 pm.  Mt. Zion is located on Rt. 235 north near the Apple Basket Country Store. For more information call 301-884-4132.
