On Oct. 3, at 11:36 p.m., TFC R. Rezza responded to the 24000 block of Horse Shoe Road in Clements for the reported second-degree assault. 

Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 18 of Great Mills, who advised he was assaulted by Gary Mitchell Quade Jr. as his father, Gary Mitchell Quade Sr., held the complainant while the son assaulted him.  The two suspects departed the scene prior to the police arriving.

At approximately 1:04 a.m. on Oct. 4, the suspects returned to the residence and the police were called for another disturbance.  When TFC Rezza arrived on the scene for the second reported disturbance, both of the Quade’s, father and son, were taken into custody, placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were charged accordingly and held pending a bond review.
