
Hollywood, MD— On December 20, 2015, at 4:48 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received a report of a subject with a gun at the Hollywood Shakers (formerly Dew Drop Inn) in Hollywood.ย
Initial responding officers were met by a large crowd in the parkingย lot, on the roadway, and a large fight occurring insideย of theย establishment.ย Deputies identified the suspect, Joseph Blankenship, age 30, of Solomons, as an aggressor and subsequently was separated from the subject he was assaulting.ย
While being taken into custody, Blankenship assaulted Deputyย Teague and Deputy Bare of the St. Maryโs County Sheriffโs Office. Joseph Blankenship was charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Resist with Arrest.
A second suspect, John William Leaman, age 29, of Lusby, assaulted Deputy Teague while he was arresting Blankenship. John Leaman was charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Resist with Arrest.
A third suspect, Joshua Michael Leaman, age 33, of Lusby, interfered with the arrest of John William Leaman by attempting to separate the suspect from Deputy Teague and Deputy Bare’s grasp.
Joshua Leaman assaulted the officers by attempting to push them away, forcefully. Joshua Leaman was charged with Second Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Resist with Arrest.
While responding to the scene to assist, Deputyย L. Johnson observedย a male andย female pushing each other in the parking lot.ย Asย Deputy Johnson attempted to separate the two,ย Haven Dawn Gagliarducci, age 23, of Waldorf assaulted Deputy Johnson.ย Gagliarducci resisted arrest but was ultimately able to be apprehended by Deputy Johnson.ย
Haven Gagliarducci was charged with Second Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Resist with Arrest.
Maryland State Police and Calvert County Sheriff’s Office units responded to assist.
