ย The Marylandย Fire Marshal’s Officeย reports they have charged three business owners in connection with the operation of an illegal nightclub within an existing restaurant.

ย The Fuzion nightclub has been operating within the Hot Noodle Restaurant located at 22576 McArthur Boulevard, California. Once the restaurant closed for the evening it was converted and reopened as the nightclub.

ย Deputy State Fire Marshals and a Fire Protection Engineer conducted an inspection of the business after a complaint was received from the public about the nightclub operation.

ย Upon the Feb. 29 inspection, the business owners were ordered to cease operation of the nightclub.

ย During this inspection several significant fire code violations were identified which would prohibit the continued operation of the nightclub.

ย A follow up inspection later that same evening revealed that the nightclub continued to operate in violation of the initial order.

ย The Hot Noodle Restaurant was owned and operated by Lam Tran, 29, David Tran, 27, and Kimberly Tran, 31. All three have been served criminal summonses charging each with one count of obstructing a State Fire Marshal investigation.

ย If convicted the three may be subject to imprisonment not to exceed three years. The St. Maryโ€™s County Liquor Control Board, Department of Land Use and Growth Management, and the Sheriffโ€™s Office assisted during the inspection.
