Pasadena, Md. – July 28, According to news sources, firefighters in Anne Arundel County battled a fire at Coconut Charlie’s sports bar in Pasadena early Friday morning.
The fire started a little after 3:00 a.m. in the attic of the restaurant on Fort Smallwood Road, according to Anne Arundel County Fire officials.
One firefighter was hurt, officials believe he fell off a ladder while battling the flames. He was checked on the scene and released back to work.
Crews are still on the scene of the fire.
Coconut Charlie’s sports bar has been opened in Pasadena for nearly 9 years. The bar was planning to hold a 9th anniversary party next Friday, August 4th.
