POTOMAC HEIGHTS, Md. — At approximately 4 a.m. on November 6, firefighters were called to the scene in Potomac Heights for a home that was reportedly engulfed in flames.
4 volunteers arrived on the scene of Circle Ave. to find a one-story duplex with fire throughout.
The crew stretched an attack line and began to attack the fire. Other arriving crews found that the fire had also extended into the attached residence. Units from multiple departments worked together to contain the fire.
Units remained on the scene for several hours assisting the Maryland State Fire Marshal. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
