rter Boats is hosting, Fishing for a Cure, on Wednesday, July 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. at their dock, 14448 Solom ons Island Road, South, Solomons.
Bunkyโs is donating the boats, and crew members their time for a fishing trip one will never forget. Proceeds from the $85 per person tickets will benefit the planned expansion of the Infusion Therapy Center at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick. The event is in honor of Bunky Conner, who passed away in May.
For certain, participants will experience the best bottom fishing in the world, refreshments and a cookout. Bait and tackle will be provided and prizes will be awarded, in particular one for the โbiggestโ fish caught.

Co-sponsors include Captain Robbie (Miss Regina), Captain Gordie (Miss Bobbie), Brian Elder (Teacherโs Pet) and captains Simon and Brian on Bunkyโs boats. These experienced captains know the waters around Solomons Island and the best places for spot, croaker and white perch.
