St. Mary’s County Sheriffs are investigating a rear-end collision involving two vehicles in the 19800 block of Three Notch Road in Spring Ridge on Oct. 26 around 11:30 a.m.
Rescue units arrived on the scene to discover one minivan rear ended another minivan with numerous injuries including children, some of which were still in the vehicle. Rescue crews worked to remove all remaining patients.
Two adults and three children were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for their injuries, none of which are life-threatening.
Both vehicles suffered serious damage.
No word on the cause of the crash or if any charges will be made.
