Clements, MD – Five people were reportedly injured in a two-vehicle collision on Coltons Point Road Wednesday evening, Sept. 7. St. Mary’s County authorities reported the crash occurred in the area of Hurry Road. Both vehicles went off the road, one of them coming to rest in a wooded area. Due to adverse weather, emergency helicopters were unavailable for transports. One seriously injured motorist was transported by ground to a regional trauma center. Four others were transported by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
The crash, which occurred around 7 p.m., remains under investigation.
