A Jessica Moreland H.O.P.E. Foundation Fundraiser
Starting the week of August 7, 2011, we will be surprising people living in Calvert County with flocks of flamingos adorning their yards!!!
How it works: Someone decides to have a laugh by decorating their friend’s yard with pink flamingos. We will deliver them to their destination at night, along with a note that they have been “flocked”. They will then have the opportunity to pick a friend and send the flock to their next destination. There is a minimum $15 donation, and we ask that the donation increase by the amount of birds that you ask us to place. We have a total of 46 flamingos. If you wish not to be flocked, you may purchase “no flocking” insurance for a $20 donation.
Hurry and get your friends on our calendar and put a smile on someone’s face!!! All proceeds go to the foundation, whose purpose is to provide small wishes to young cancer warriors and financial assistance for their families.

If you would like to flock someone in St. Mary’s or Charles please call. Also, please keep in mind that there is more gas used if the flocking is outside of Calvert when you are making your donation. Not only do they have to travel to do the flocking but they have to go back the next night and pick up the flamingos.
