The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) wants to alert citizens of the following roadways which have been overtopped with several inches of water due to the combination of today’s heavy rains and high tides: 

  • Mechanicsville Rd at the intersection of Yowaiski Mill Road (water receded & signs removed)

  • Locks Crossing Road near MD 236 (Thompson Corner Road)

  • All Faith Church Road at Killpeck Creek washed out shoulder currently being repaired
  • Hurry Road on the MD 238 (Maddox Road) end near Zach Fowler Road
  • Zach Fowler Road @ Nelson Run

  • Intersection of  Mechanicsville Road Triangle Drive (water receded & signs removed)

  • Manor Road approximately ½ mile west of Horse Shoe Road
  • Bethel Church Road @ Coffee Hill Run

     

  • Golden Beach Road near Market Drive (water receded & signs removed)

    • Unless indicated otherwise noted above, these locations have been marked by DPW&T with high water signs.  The roadways remain open and passable at this time. All roadways will continue to be monitored.
