At 6 p.m., on Dec. 22, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the food court at St. Charles Towne Center located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf for the report of a fight.
Mall security officers detained Robert Markell Scott, 19, of Oxon Hill and a 16-year-old Clinton boy for being disorderly and disturbing the public peace.
Investigation revealed they had been involved in a fight in the food court with numerous other individuals. Both accused were charged with disorderly conduct and the teen was also charged with trespassing on private property.
Scott was being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before a district court commissioner and the juvenile was released to his mother. Cpl. D. Byrd and Cpl. J. Piazza investigated.
