Solomons, MD – Frank McCabe, a longtime member of the Calvert County Republican Central Committee and the panel’s former chairman, died Tuesday evening, June. 2.
McCabe a Wisconsin native and retired federal government employee, helmed the local party for several years. His leadership reached its apex in 2010 when Calvert County elected an all-Republican board of county commissioners. At the time of his death, McCabe was serving as the central committee’s precinct organization chairman.
Funeral services for McCabe will be held Thursday, June 11 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Solomons beginning at 11 a.m.
