The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrests of four individuals on assault charges in four unrelated incidents. The incidents and arrests occurred during the Christmas Holiday Weekend.

Hollywood, MD – On Dec. 25, deputies responded to a residence on Allston Lane in Hollywood, to assist Emergency Medical Services. The victim alleged the suspect, identified as Joshua Michael Stone, 31, of Hollywood, picked up then threw the victim into a recliner during an argument. The victim had a visible injury. Stone was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center. He was charged with second-degree assault.

Hollywood, MD โ€“ On Dec.25, Deputy D. Smith responded to a residence on Thornbury Drive in Hollywood, for a disturbance. The victim alleged the suspect, identified as Bryan Douglas McDonald, 20, of Hollywood, grabbed 2 knives from the kitchen during an argument. The suspect then threw one of the knives at the victim. McDonald was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center. He was charged with first-degree assault. ย

Leonardtown, MDโ€“ On Dec. 26, Deputy Steinbach responded to a residence on Eastwick Lane in Leonardtown, for a conservator of the peace. On arrival, the victim alleged the suspect, identified as Rajahn Delmon Hampton, 35, of Leonardtown, attempted to strangle and then kicked the victim in the ribs during an argument over the use of a vehicle. The victim had visible injuries from the assault. Hampton was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center. He was charged with second-degree assault.ย

Callaway, MD โ€“ On Dec. 27, Deputy Steinbach responded to a residence on Leesa Court, for an assault. Four victims alleged the suspect, identified as Charles Timothy Moore, 33, of Lexington Park, followed them in his vehicle after they left the scene of a fight in Callaway. The victims had left in a Ford Taurus when they believed Moore was following them in a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling southbound on Point Lookout Road. The driver alleged Moore drove into the northbound lanes in an attempt to run the victimโ€™s vehicle off of the road. Moore continued to chase the victimโ€™s vehicle. Deputies subsequently saw Moore in his vehicle pull out from Take It Easy Ranch Lane onto Piney Point Road at a high rate of speed in pursuit of the victimโ€™s vehicle. Deputies stopped Moore and placed him under arrest. Moore was charged with four counts of first-degree assault and four counts of second-degree assault.ย
