On Feb. 17, at 8:50 a.m., Trooper Parker responded to the Two & Four Liquors in Sunderland, for a report of check fraud.
Investigation revealed that a female came into the store to cash a check from a college in Massachusetts. The owner advised she accepted the check because the suspect had no supporting documentation from the college. It was later established that the check was fraudulent.
