The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism is hosting additional free fishing classes for youth between the ages of 6 and 15. The classes will be held at Gilbert Run Park at 13140 Charles Street, Charlotte Hall, on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 9:45 a.m. to noon.
This is a great opportunity for children to learn the basics of fishing and have fun. Prior fishing experience is not needed. Bait and tackle will be provided.
