Gas Leak – Chancellors Run Now Open

All Roads Now Open

UPDATE 11:38 a.m.

Authorities state that the six-inch gas leak is located at Chancellors Run and Longfields Blvd. All traffic is being diverted from northbound Chancellors Run on to Buck Hewitt and Buck Hewitt traffic is being forced to turn left onto Chancellors Run in the southbound direction. No traffic is allowed on Longfields Blvd. until the leak has been repaired.

Authorities expect to have the roads closed for an extended period of time. 

Washington Gas Officials are on the scene.

Hazmat Teams are heading towards Chancellors Run Road, the scene of a six-inch gas main leak. The road will be closed in from Route 235 to Buck Hewitt Road. TBN is on the way to the scene and will provide more information as it is released.
