On February 8, 2011, Deputy Heather Allen responded to the Giant Food Store in California, Md., for a reported theft.

Deputy Allen learned Carrie Ann Conyers, 23 of Callaway, was observed by store staff concealing merchandise in her purse.  She was confronted while attempting to exit and $116.18 worth of merchandise was recovered.  

Conyers was issued a criminal citation for theft and released pending her court date.
