Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (Investigations and Narcotics Divisions) yesterday arrested Matt York, age 35, of Great Mills, manager of the Lexington Park Pro Fitness Gym.
Detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant for York’s Great Mills home and numerous items were seized. The items included various anabolic steroids, growth hormones (both human and animal) and syringes filled with a steroid substance.
York was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Anabolic Steroids). Additional charges are pending a toxicology review, a review by the State’s Attorney and presentation to the Grand Jury of St. Mary’s County.
York is detained in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a District Court Commissioners bond hearing.
