Halloween in the Garden was a Spooktacular success on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Annmarie in Solomons, Maryland. The beautiful day brought out a record crowd and proved an example of a wonderful partnership between Annmarie and Southern Maryland businesses with over sixty community organizations and businesses participating this year. All booths decorated their spaces and wore costumes to hand out candy and treats to children of all ages!ย

This yearโ€™s Golden Pumpkin awards were presented to ; ej Bridals of Solomons, MD, Cove Point Self Storage of Lusby, MD and the MOMโ€™s Club of Lusby. These awards are presented to those booths that are best decorated and have the best Halloween spirits.ย

The Leomonaders, from Annmarieโ€™s summer camp, raised $300 selling lemonade to donate to the V Foundation for Cancer Research. The hard work of the Leomonaders will help assist research to find cures for cancer.ย  ย

Besides trick or treating, Annmarie featured fun, festive, elements that brought record number of visitors to Halloween in the Garden this year.ย  A talented crew from Dominion Cove Point LNG replicated a Pirate Ship that squirted water (confetti) to all who dared pass by;ย  in addition, Annmarie opened its studio school for art activities and multiple fall photo opportunities were available throughout!ย
