At 4:40 p.m. Dec. 26, Trooper McCartney responded to the Leonardtown Barracks for a reported theft from a motor vehicle.
Contact was made with the male complainant who advised he went to the Farmer’s Market in Charlotte Hall at 11 am on Dec. 22. When he returned to his vehicle at 2:00 pm that afternoon, he discovered his Taurus ACP 45 caliber handgun, serial number UK99-5551 was missing from the vehicle.
The handgun was valued at $550. The handgun was entered in NCIC as a stolen handgun and the investigation continues.
