Solomons, MD — We love our pets too. So Valentine’s Day is also a time for them as well. In recognition of that Second Hope Rescue offered Valentine’s Day pictures Saturday, Jan. 30 at Pepper’s Pet Pantry in Solomons.
Peppers Pet Pantry supplied a variety of Valentine’s Day-themed costumes for wearing during the picture taking. Participants could purchase one 4×6 picture; extra pictures and an entire CD of all the pictures taken could also be purchased.
Second Hope volunteers assisted with the costume selection, helped to pose the pets and took the pictures. All proceeds went to the 501-c-3 non-profit organization that operates in Southern Maryland. The organization rescues all dog and cat breeds and specializes in older and harder-to-adopt dogs and cats in need of a new home. They operate a network of foster homes.
