Leonardtown, MD – Due to floodwaters from heavy rains, Friendship School Road has washed out and is closed at the culvert between Maypole Road and Jones Road.
Access for residents living nearby is unaffected. Motorists should use McIntosh Road or
Loveville Road as alternative routes. Changeable message signs and detour signs will be provided to route motorists around the closure.
The duration of the closure is not known at this time.
