On May 22, at approximately 12:08 p.m., TFC J. Edelen was traveling westbound on Route 228 in the area of Market Place when he was contacted by Sergeant C. Force, K-9, of the Maryland State Police.ย  Sergeant Force stopped Keith Michael Hollingsworth Hayes, 25 years of Ft. Washington, for a traffic violation.ย  A K-9 scan of the vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana.ย  Hayes was charge with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

On May 23, at approximately 8:55 a.m., Corporal T. Quade was conducting stationary laser assignment northbound U.S. Route 301, south of Faulkner Road, when he stopped Michael Allen Paul, 30, of Fredericksburg, VA for a traffic violation.ย  A check through MCA and NCIC/MILES Computer revealed Paulโ€™s privilege to drive in Maryland was suspended.ย  The check also revealed Paul was wanted by the Charles County Sheriffโ€™s Office for theft under $100.ย  A search revealed a small baggie containing suspected heroin, numerous hypodermic needles and a metal spoon.ย  Paul was charges with did possess a controlled dangerous substance, and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

On May 23, at approximately 12:12 p.m., TFC W. Jenkins was on routine patrol southbound MD Route 5, north of Pika Drive, when he stopped Webster David Jackson, 46 years of Waldorf, MD for stolen license plates.ย  A confirmation was sent to Anne Arundel County Police Department which confirmed the tags were stolen.ย  Jackson was charged with theft less than $100, and also received numerous traffic citations.

On May 23, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Trooper J. Wilson was on routine patrol on northbound Leonardtown Road, south of Crain Highway, stopped Tory Michelle Tolson, 31 years of Waldorf, MD for a traffic violation.ย  Tolson was charged with False Statement to Officer.

On May 24, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Trooper R. Wilt was on routine patrol traveling on MD Route 227 in the area of Lakeview Drive when he stopped Erica Natasha Smith, 32, of Silver Spring, for a traffic violation; smelled the odor of marijuana, searched the vehicle and recovered a tin container containing suspected marijuana.ย  Smith was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.

On May 24, at approximately 1:49 p.m., TFC W. Jenkins was on routine patrol on Route 5, north of Pika Drive when he stopped Darren Jamar Bullock, 20 of Waldorf, on Ryon Court and Vivian Adams for a traffic violation.ย  A check through MVA and NCIC/MILES revealed the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen.ย  A confirmation from the Prince Georgeโ€™s County Police Department advised the vehicle was reported stolen to them.ย  Bullock was arrested and charged with unauthorized us of motor vehicle.

On May 25, 2008, at approximately 1:29 p.m., Trooper R. Wilt was on routine patrol on southbound 210 in the area of McWilliams Road when he stopped Richard A Woods, Jr., 27 of Waldorf, for a traffic violation, he noticed a clear plastic baggie in plain view containing suspected marijuana.ย  The passengers, Rebecca Ann Jackson, 22, of West Babylon, NY and John Fredy Parra Hernandez, 32, of Hicksville, NY and the driver Woods, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.

On May 25, 2008 at approximately 9 p.m., Trooper R. Wilt was on routine patrol on U.S. Route 301 in the area of Balsum Rund road, when he stopped Eugene James Warren, 40 of Forestville, MD for a traffic violation.ย  A check through MVA, NCIC/MILES revealed Warren had 3 outstanding warrants.ย  A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana.ย  Warren was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
