The skies above the carnival grounds shined brightly as the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department welcomed back the masses again for the 5th Annual Independence Day Celebration. Saturday evening, the family fun kicked off with carnival rides & games, face-painting & food, while appeasing the ears with tunes from the band, R&R Train.
As night fell with anticipation of the skies erupting, seekers nestled themselves on blankets and lounge chairs. The crowd packed a patriotic punch as R&R Train led them into singing the National Anthem. Then BOOM!!! The first sounds of one of the area’s most dazzling fireworks displays. The bursting display was a constant sparkle of eye candy which closed with a thunderous finale that illuminated the night sky.
