Holocaust Survivors Describe their Experiences

ย (St. Maryโ€™s City, MD) March 29, 2011โ€”Two survivors of the Holocaust will describe their experiences to students and the public at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Cole Cinema at St. Maryโ€™s College of Maryland. Charlene Schiff, of Poland, survived in the forest by herself for three winters after losing her entire family. Martin Weiss, of Hungary, was a slave laborer in three camps, including Auschwitz-Birkenau.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary’s River in Southern Maryland
