Historic St. Maryโs City invites homeschool families to a special day of hands-on activities and demonstrations designed just for them.ย Spring Homeschool Day will take place on Tuesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Scholars of all ages learn by doing at each of HSMCโs living history areas. Find out about life during a sea voyage at the waterfront and help plant โgreen goldโ at the plantation. Try operating a colonial computer and pull the devilโs tail at the Print House.
Save time to explore the St. Johnโs Site Museum and discover how archaeologists and historians learn about the past. Fun and educational activities will bring students to a deeper understanding of early Maryland.
Registration is required and the number of participants is limited to ensure a quality experience for all. Sign up for Homeschool Day by visiting www.stmaryscity.org and downloading the Homeschool Day flier, which includes an application, or call (240) 895-4984 to register by phone.ย ย
