Historic St. Maryโ€™s City invites homeschool families to a special day of hands-on activities and demonstrations designed just for them.ย  Spring Homeschool Day will take place on Tuesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Scholars of all ages learn by doing at each of HSMCโ€™s living history areas. Find out about life during a sea voyage at the waterfront and help plant โ€˜green goldโ€™ at the plantation. Try operating a colonial computer and pull the devilโ€™s tail at the Print House.

Save time to explore the St. Johnโ€™s Site Museum and discover how archaeologists and historians learn about the past. Fun and educational activities will bring students to a deeper understanding of early Maryland.

Registration is required and the number of participants is limited to ensure a quality experience for all. Sign up for Homeschool Day by visiting www.stmaryscity.org and downloading the Homeschool Day flier, which includes an application, or call (240) 895-4984 to register by phone.ย ย
