Prince Frederick, MD โ€“ Calvert Hospice is very happy to announce Tanea Granlund as the newย Outreach Coordinator for Calvert Hospice.

Tanea was born and raised in Calvert County and has developed relationships with theย community in various ways. โ€œI am very grateful that my career path has led me to such a greatย organization. Through personal experiences, I learned all that Hospice has to offer patients andย their families. I saw how much Hospice not only cares for the terminally ill patient but supports,ย educates, and comforts the family members. Hospice is always there to help, and I am excited toย be a part of this wonderful group of people. I want to help spread the word throughout theย community to enable residents take advantage of everything Calvert Hospice has to offer.โ€ย

Tanea has worked with children and adults for over 24 years through education and communityย involvement. Tanea earned her Early Childhood Development Degree in 1992, Business Degreeย in 2012, and attended University of Maryland for her BA in Art Education.

In 1990, Tanea traveled the world with her husband who set forth in his military career. After 24ย years, Tanea has now settled back โ€œhomeโ€ in Calvert County, and her family has bought theirย first home in Huntingtown. โ€œIt is great to be back home and involved in the community that Iย was raised in. I am now raising my own two children in Calvert County and couldnโ€™t be happier!โ€
