At 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21, Trooper McCartney responded to the 27000 block of Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, for a reported burglary.
Investigation revealed that while the victim was on vacation, a subject broke into the residence and stole 13 rolls of quarters and a cup of quarters.
The scene was processed for evidence and the investigation is continuing.
