St. Mary’s County Detention Center, Leonardtown, MD 5/20/2017- Assault 2nd Degree and Assault on DOC Inmate – Deputy First Class D. Lawrence responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for the report of an assault between inmates.
George David Barnes
The investigation revealed the suspects, George David Barnes, 38 of Lebanon, PA, and Steven Wayne Sams, 37 of Waldorf, MD, were engaged in a verbal fight that turned physical. The suspects were both charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Assault on DOC Inmate and released back to the custody of the detention center. CCN# 27042-17
