Please join the Hughesville Running Club as it hosts the inaugural Hughesville 10K/Festival taking place Saturday Sept. 6, on Business Route 5 in the Village of Hughesville. Admission is one can of food for the Southern Maryland Food Bank.
The Kids’ Fun Run will start at 8:15 a.m.; then 10K/5K will start at 8:30 a.m. down Burnt Store Road.
The start and finish for all three events will be in front of the red Bargain Barns
There will be a live broadcast by Star 98.3 FM’s T-bone & Heather. The Festival activities begin at 10:00 a.m. and include a live performance by Austin Cody, moonbounce and other fun stuff for the kids, local businesses, crafters, artists, local produce, an appearance by McGruff the Crime Dog, lots of food & more!
