Clements, MD – TheBayNet.com has obtained the frantic 9-1-1 call made from inside a Clements home just moments after a tractor trailer slammed into the side of the house.

The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on Feb. 24. The St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office responded to the 23000 block of Budds Creek Road after two calls were placed to dispatchers.

In the first call, you can hear a juvenile male who was inside the home. He tells the 9-1-1 operator that a truck hit his home and the family is trapped inside.
The second call is from a female driver who witnessed the accident. She explains to the operator that the tractor trailer went through the traffic circle at the intersection of Budds Creek Road and Colton Point Road and then crashed into the house.
Surveillance video from a nearby gas station shows the truck losing control after passing through the traffic circle, crossing the westbound lane and careening into the home.

Four people were inside the home at the time. Billie Kathleen Fitzpatrick, 38, Thomas Martin Johnson, 37, and two juveniles.ย  The juveniles were taken to Medstar St. Maryโ€™s Hospital for precautionary measures.ย  Walker, Fitzpatrick, and Johnson were all transported by ambulance to University of Maryland Prince Georgeโ€™s Hospital Center.

The driver of the truck, Bolden Macarthur Walker, 72 of Capital Heights, was not injured. No charges have been filed and the accident is still under investigation.
