On Oct. 8, William Cordell Johnson and Joseph Franklin Brown Jr. were transported from Raleigh, N.C. back to St. Mary’s County by Detectives with the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
Both Johnson and Brown are charged with the following: Conspiracy to commit an armed robbery, kidnapping, kidnapping of a child under the age of 16 (two counts), armed robbery (two counts), assault in the first degree (three counts), theft over $500.
Johnson and Brown are currently incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
