RIDGE, Md. — Earlier this evening, first responders in Ridge found themselves battling a rather unusual blaze.
At approximately 8:21p.m. on June 30, crews were dispatched to the scene of Wynne Road in Ridge for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival, the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department identified a flaming zero-turn lawnmower in the road.
The fire was quickly contained by the volunteers and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has not been identified at this time.
