Lexington Park man charged with assault

CALIFORNIA, Md. – On July 3, 2018, DFC. J. Davis responded to the 23000 block of Old Pine Court in California, for a reported assault.  The victim advised Ewin Theodore Verdict Jr. age 62 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by pinning the victim against a wall, and strangling the victim.  The victim displayed visible signs of injury.  Verdict Jr. was located, arrested, and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
