On August 26, 2007 Alice Mildred (nee Nelson) born June 1, 1916 in Chaptico, MD; beloved wife of the late Joseph Earle St. Clair and devoted mother of Joseph Nelson St. Clair and his wife, Rosemary; dear grandmother of Jamie St. Clair Muhly and her husband, Daniel, Kathryn St. Clair Earle and her husband, Garrett and Joseph N. St. Clair II; loving great grandmother of Davis, Abigal, Liam and Thomas Muhly. Mrs. St. Clair was a former teacher and principal in the St. Mary’s County public school system; where she started at River Springs Elementary, taught at Clements Elementary and retired from Dynard Elementary School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Julia Halla Chapter #107 and a former member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Avenue, MD. A graveside service will be held in the All Saints Episcopal Church Cemetery on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM
