Charles “Hot Foot” Alexander Gladden, Sr., 80 of Charles County, MD formerly of St. Mary’s County, MD departed this earth on August 15, 2007 in Georgetown University Hospital. When our heavenly father took hold of his hand. Born June 2, 1927 in St. Mary’s County, MD he was the son the late Charles and Arlene Morgan-Gladden. He is survived by his children: Margaret Ann Butler and Charles A. Gladden, Jr. both of St. Mary’s County, MD and Mary S. Herron of Charles County, MD. Mr. Gladden worked as a laborer and a chef for the U.S. Government. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in Bethesda United Methodist Church, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev.
