Born on August 27, 1971 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Catherine M. Lee of Mechanicsville, MD and the late Dwight Walden Gregory, Sr. He was a graduate of Surrattsville High School. He had worked in the plumbing business with his father, Dwight Gregory & Son and owned and managed three apartment houses in Washington, D.C.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine M. Lee of Mechanicsville, MD, a special friend and companion, Pam Delozier and her son Jonathan, two sisters, Susan M. Fielders and her husband Edward of Waldorf, MD, Mary E. Walton and her husband Daniel of Mechanicsville, MD, two nieces and one nephew. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leo P. Klear III.
The family received friends on Sunday, February 27, 2005 in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service was conducted on Monday, February 28, 2005 in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Ray Schmidt, Pastor of St. John Francis Regis Church, Hollywood, MD conducted the service. Interment followed in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
