Frank Sylvester Richards, Jr. “Junebug”, 62, of Brandywine, MD passed away on June 6, 2017 at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, MD. Frank was born to the late Frank Sylvester Richards, Sr. and the late Alice Naomi Hall in Cheverly, MD. He was a life time farmer, who enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and listerning to country music. Frank was a member of the P.G. County Government Environmental Resources for 29 years.
Frank was predeceased by his brothers, Robert A. and Francis W. Richards; and his sister, Alice D. Windsor. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Joyce O. Richards; son, Joshua Churchwell; daughters, Amanda M. Gullickson, Holly N. Richards, Rebecca R. Churchwell; brother, Joseph C. Richards; grandchildren, Jenny, Julie, Jessie, Jamie and Josh.
Family will receive friends for Frank’s Life Celebration Visitation on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 5-8pm with Prayers at 7pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 10am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 17502 Aquasco Road, Brandywine, MD 20613. Interment will follow at St Peters Cemetery, St. Peters Way, Waldorf, MD 20602.
Pallbearers will be Wade Robert Windsor, Stephen C. Windsor, Jarid R. Gullickson, John P. Windsor, Dale Scott, Joseph Baden and Robert Farrell.
