James Lindsey Windsor, Sr., 60, of Brandywine, MD passed away September 14, 2014 at his residence. Born September 15, 1953 in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of Preston Joseph Windsor and Lillian Regina Richardson Windsor. “Little Jimmy”, as he was affectionately called, worked as a Department Supervisor for the Prince Georges County Department of Public Works in transportation. He loved to fish, crab and hunt.

Little Jimmy was predeceased by his parents; late wife, Jeanne T. Windsor; son, James L. Windsor, Jr. and sister, Mary Ann Farrington.

He is survived by his wife, Heidi Ann Windsor; sons, Andrew J. Windsor (Kristina Powers) of Mechanicsville, MD and Eric R. Windsor of Brandywine, MD; daughters, Tammy Sullivan (Stuart) of Mechanicsville, MD, Stephanie Windsor (Patrick Phipps) of Aquasco, MD and Jessica Windsor of Brandywine, MD; brother, Robert Fulton Windsor of Brandywine, MD; sisters, Frances Christine Snell of LaPlata, MD, Dorothy May Watson of Brandywine, MD and Doris Elaine Hamilton of Baltimore, MD; also survived by 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for Jimmy’s Life Celebration on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 17502 Aquasco Rd., Brandywine, MD 20613. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD 20735.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hamilton, Stuart Sullivan, James Watson, III, Benjamin Rawlings, Christopher Snell and Michael Windsor. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Wines and Kevin Hamilton.
