She was born on June 3, 1909 in Randall Cliffs, MD the daughter of the late Edward and Bessie Cranford Cox.
Mrs. Garner is survived by her son Benjamin A. ?Bunky? Garner, Jr. and wife Marie of Leonardtown, MD, a sister Pauline Dodson, of Huntingtown, MD, a granddaughter, Bernadette Garner of Leonardtown, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Andrew Garner, Sr. on April 16, 1982, a sister, Verda Turner and three brothers, Raynor, Edward and Stanley Cox.
Friends may call on Sunday, June 15, 2003 from 2:00 until 6:00 pm at the Brinsfield funeral home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. A Prayer Service will be offered at 5:00 pm with Brother Lloyd officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 16, 2003 at 10:00 am at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD. The Reverend Robert Kosty will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady?s Catholic Church Cemetery, Leonardtown, MD.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Garner will be, Michael Dodson, Tim Dodson, Greg Dodson, Tom Turner, Donnie Turner, and Steve Garner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Nash, Don Turner, Walter Dorsey, Ben Burroughs, Dennis Garner and Frank Fenwick.
