Sharon Lee Clark, 70, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away peacefully with her husband Thomas Clark at her side on January 16, 2021 in their home.
Sharon born on July 20, 1950 to the late Russell Clevis Baker and Regina Elizabeth Cheeks Baker.
Sharon married Thomas Clark on June 16, 1979 in Prince George’s County, MD. They celebrated 41 wonderful years together. Sharon was a dedicated Registered Nurse at Washington Hospital Center’s emergency room for more than 30 years. Together Sharon and Tom enjoyed camping in Williamsburg, VA, Gettysburg, PA, and Frontier Town, Berlin, MD. Sharon was a fantastic cook with one of her specialties being her lasagna. She was also an avid bowler. Sharon enjoyed flower gardening, but most of all she cherished spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Sharon is also survived by her son, Jeff Thomas Clark of Mechanicsville, MD. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Amanda Beth (Mandy) Clark.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Funeral Service by invitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at All Faith Episcopal Church, 38885 New Market Turner Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
