Born on June 22, 1941 in Chaptico, MD, he was the son of the late Thomas Aloysius Mills, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Fenwick Mills. Mr. Mills worked as a landscaper. He enjoyed all sports and dancing.
He is survived by a close friend, Mary Virginia Brown of Leonardtown, MD, three step children, James E. Brown of Hollywood, MD, William O. Brown of Waldorf, MD, Valeria M. Brown of Great Mills, MD, 6 grandchildren, three sisters, Regina Herbert of Mechanicsville, MD, Ruby Cole of Washington, DC, Joan Morgan of Lexington Park, MD, three brothers, Thomas Mills, Jr. of Mechanicsville, MD, Lawrence Mills of Clements, MD and DeSales Mills of Lexington Park, MD. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Constance Mills and Catherine Bowman and one brother, Charles Mills.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2006 in St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Leonardtown, MD. The Reverend John Dakes will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Bushwood, MD.
