On October 17, 2010 at 6:30 a.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 4900 block of St. Leonard Rd. in St. Leonard.
During the stop, John E. Norfolk, Jr., 54 of St. Petersburg, Florida, was found to be in possession of Methadone. A loaded handgun was also recovered during the incident. Norfolk was arrested and charged with concealing a deadly weapon and possession of Methadone.
He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
